Christmas Tree Appeal to Brighten Lives

This year Cornwall Services will again be embracing the true spirit of Christmas by running its Christmas Tree Appeal, which aims to help brighten the lives of some very deserving Cornish children this December.

The Appeal Tree is now up in the main hall at Cornwall Services, complete with tags and parcel collection box. All you need to do is take a gift tag off the tree and buy a gift suitable for the age range and gender written on it. You then drop the gift back at the services by 15 December at the latest and we will make sure they are distributed in time for Christmas Day.

This year the appeal is providing Christmas gifts for children who will be spending their Christmas in Treliske Hospital, as well as children marginalised by life’s circumstances who are supported by three brilliant charities in Cornwall – CHICKS, Fiver Rivers and Cornwall’s Women and Children Refuge.

The wonderful support last year provided 67 presents and 11 Clip and Climb sessions for Treliske Oncology patients at our very own Indoor Active at Cornwall Services. We are hoping this year will be even bigger and brighten the lives of even more children.

Special thanks to Woodys and the management team at Cornwall Services for their support, and to Indoor Active for their generous donations of gifts so far.
