Cornwall Services comments on service station pricing
Andrew King, part of the commercial team at Cornwall Services said:
“We have read with interest the recent press articles about prices charged at service stations across the country. It’s no great surprise that the big chains fared so badly in the survey. The good news is, not all service stations charge such high prices. Cornwall Services is an independently run motorway-style service station on the A30 near Bodmin. We have some big names like McDonalds and Costa, but also some local Cornish gems, such as Open Oven Pizza, Cornish Kitchen and Rowe’s. We not only cater for tourists travelling to and from Cornwall, but also serve the local community, who use the services regularly. As far as we know, we are the cheapest service station in the UK – much cheaper than your average big chain service station.”
